BERGHAUS BRAND HISTORY
Berghaus have been producing outdoor gear for adventure since 1966. Our Berghaus Range now covers everything from Rucksacks to footwear, and they continue to develop their technologies to give protection to climbers, walkers, and outdoor users around the world.
Brasher and Berghaus recently joined forces, so classics such as the Hillmaster and Supalite walking boots are now made under the Berghaus name, adding some great models to their already excellent footwear range, whilst classics such as the Cornice and Mera Peak walking jackets are still go to jackets for many dedicated walkers, showing Berghaus’ reputation for quality and performance is as strong today as it always has been.
With recent introductions to their clothing range, like Hydrophobic Down and their new waterproof Hydroshell fabric, Berghaus continue to push their outdoor clothing range as far as they can, so that you can head out on your adventure without worrying about the weather.
Berghaus work closely with adventurers and outdoor athletes such as Chris Bonnington and Leo Houlding, providing them with kit for their own epic adventures, whether that's up an unclimbed peak or into the middle of the antarctic. This means that there kit has been tested in the harshest environments and on the toughest climbs so you can have confidence in the kit and clothing they make.
